📋 Team Registration
All teams must be officially registered before the season begins.
Rosters must include:
Full player names
Date of Birth
Jersey numbers
Roster changes are only allowed with league approval before the next scheduled game.
✅ Player Eligibility
Players may only compete in their assigned age division, unless approved by the league.
A player cannot play for multiple teams in the same division during a season.
🧑🏫 Coach Requirements
Each team must have:
One Head Coach
At least one Assistant Coach
All coaches must:
Sign the MLCL Code of Conduct
Take full responsibility for player behavior on and off the field
📅 Game Day Expectations
Teams should arrive at the field 30 minutes before game time.
Uniform standards:
Matching jerseys
Proper safety gear
Only rostered players and official coaches are allowed on the bench.
🤝 Sportsmanship & Conduct
MLCL has a zero-tolerance policy for:
Verbal abuse
Fighting
Disrespect toward referees or staff
Violations may lead to:
Immediate ejection
Team suspension for repeated offenses
❌ Forfeits & No-Shows
Teams that can’t field the minimum number of players will forfeit.
Cancellations/reschedules must be reported to MLCL at least 48 hours in advance.
👨👩👧👦 Sideline Rules
Spectators must stay on the designated viewing side.
Team benches are restricted to players and coaches only.
No sideline coaching by parents or unauthorized individuals.
🌧️ Weather & Delays
Games may continue in light rain, but unsafe conditions will result in cancellations.
MLCL will send official communications for any weather-related delays or decisions.
